Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the Meadow Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress for the first night?
The mattress is customizable by layer configuration (base, middle, top). For initial setup, choose your desired firmness for base (firm/medium), middle (soft/medium/firm), and top (soft), then place each wrapped layer in the correct order atop the foundation. Use the breathable cotton cover with wool to help regulate temperature from the start.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might not be a good fit?
It suits sleepers who want a highly customizable latex feel with dual firmness on each side and compatibility with adjustable bases. If you prefer a fixed, single firmness bed or dislike layered customization, this might be less suitable.
What features make this mattress comfortable and durable for daily use?
It uses individually wrapped latex layers to reduce friction and motion transfer, a breathable organic cotton cover lined with wool for temperature regulation and natural flame retardancy, and optional hardwood foundations for added support, all designed for long-lasting comfort.
Can this mattress be used with an adjustable bed base?
Yes, the Meadow is compatible with adjustable bed bases, allowing you to tailor firmness and positioning on the go.
What size options and dual firmness choices are available for different rooms?
The mattress is available in queen and king sizes with dual firmness on each side, enabling one partner to have a different feel without compromising overall comfort.
Why are the layers individually wrapped and how does that affect use?
Each latex layer is individually wrapped to reduce friction and movement between layers, helping maintain a consistent feel and longer-lasting comfort over time.
